I was struggling with anxiety based around my health, but also other factors within my life. These anxieties were impacting my everyday life, leading me to question everything and worry obsessively. My sessions with Sam allowed me to develop the tools to understand how I was feeling and more importantly develop the skills to overcome the worries.
Sam was able to help me discover what my anxieties were in a non judgmental and calm way, supporting throughout and allowing me to discover and explore these thoughts at my own pace. The sessions though following the process were focused around me and what had happened that week.
The experience was deeply personal and life affirmative. Thanks to Sam I no longer struggle with everyday problems, I can pick out issues, apply my thinking and overcome the situation. Quite simply due to the CBT I am a happier person. And if something else comes up I know I will be able to deal with it.

I was a bit sceptical about CBT but a friend had raved about it, so gave it a go and am so glad I did. Sam helped me see that my habitual ways of thinking were just so unhelpful to me, damaging relationships and causing me to carry a big chip on my shoulder. She helped me reframe everything in a way that is logical, pragmatic and rooted in real life, and I feel emotionally happier in family life than I have - ever!
