How many sessions will I needs

We all come to therapy for different reasons, so its difficult to say the exact amount of sessions, however, typically a minimum of 6-9 sessions depending on what you are working through. REBT/CBT is a proactive therapy, so in-between session work is set to enable you to practise and start utilising the skills you have learnt in the sessions, commitment to the in-between work increases the effectiveness of the sessions and the amount needed

How long are the sessions?

Each therapy session is 1 hour long

How frequent are the sessions?

Ideally weekly sessions are most effective but fortnightly sessions are available. As the therapy goes on we aim to reduce the frequency to allow you to go longer without the sessions leading up to the therapy ending.

What is the cost of the session?

Each session is £50

Where does the therapy take place?

I carry out the sessions online via Teams.

What do I need for the sessions?

The most important thing is having a private space that you feel you can openly talk

Am I just talking through my problems?

No, its more than that, The beginning sessions will focus on talking about the problems you are facing and what you want to achieve in therapy, then we start to apply the REBT/CBT framework and other therapies to your specific problem/s, to help you gain awareness and develop new techniques to get you to where you want be.
