Hello, My name is Sam.
I specialise in REBT (Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy) this is a form of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy; a pro-active approach to changing how you think, feel and behave.
At My Balanced Mind I’ll be alongside you and together we can work towards the person you want to be. When life becomes overwhelming and feels like it’s going off track, it can be difficult to know where to start.
REBT can identify when you are rigidly stuck in unhelpful beliefs and behaviours, which can impact on all aspects of your life.
At My Balanced Mind you will learn to identify why you think & behave in certain ways because of the beliefs you hold, this will help you to understand how you can change them, putting you back in control of your life and the things that you value.
The sessions aim is to increase your awareness and help you to develop new techniques that will give you the understanding and skills of how to change the way you feel. This improves your emotional regulation, self-worth and life in general, but most importantly increasing your focus on what you want from life.
